MICAT 2017 Registration

The application process for both phases of MICAT will be done online. Candidates can make the MICAT 2017 registration from the official link. The application form for phase one of MICAT 2017 has been released from 30th September 2016. The last date to submit the application form will be 25th November 2016.

To fill the application form, firstly candidates have to register online. After the completion of successful registration, an e-mail containing User ID and password has been sent to your mail ID. Access your account and proceed towards the filing of online application form. The costs of the application form will be application fee of Rs 1965. Payment can be made either Credit Card, Demand Draft and Counter Payment (cash payment in MICA admission office).

MICAT Selection Process

The MICAT Selection Process for the batch 2017-2019 is mentioned here:
Step-I: Firstly, candidates have to qualify any one of these three exams, i.e. CAT 2016, XAT 2017 or GMAT (2017 onwards)
Step-II: Students are required to clear the MICAT (MICA Admission Test) which comprises of various sections like Psychometric (P), Verbal ability (VA), General awareness (GA) , Divergent-Convergent Reasoning (DCR), Quantitative ability (QA),and Descriptive Test (DT). Qualified candidates will be considered for short listing for GE & PI rounds.
Step-III: Shortlisted candidates after MICAT are needed to appear for GE & PI both rounds. A merit list will be prepared on the basis of GE & PI. After the completion of all rounds a final result will be declared for admission.

MICA Admission Test Eligibility

Eligibility conditions required to be fulfilled by the candidates before applying for the MICAT 2017 are as follows:
  • Candidate must have Association of Indian Universities (AIU) recognized bachelor degree or its equivalent qualification passed in any discipline.
  • Bachelor degree final year candidates are also eligible to apply.
  • It is necessary for MICAT aspirants to hold a valid score either in CAT 2016, XAT 2017 and GMAT (2015 onwards). Those satisfying this condition will only be eligible to apply for MICAT 2017.

MICAT Exam Pattern 2017

MICAT 2017 is completely computer based test. It test candidates skills in Divergent Thinking Abilities, Written Communication Abilities, General Awareness about contemporary social and business issues, including areas relevant to media, marketing, advertising & current affairs and Analytical & Verbal Abilities. The question paper also includes questions on Psychometric Test.

MICAT 2017 Admit Card

Candidates will be able to download the MICAT 2017 Admit card for phase one on 2nd December 2016. Admit card will be accessible online only through the website. Entry in the examination hall will not be granted without admit card.

MICAT 2017 Result

Result for MICAT 2016 phase one will be announced on 19th December 2016. After the announcement of results, GE-PI rounds will be conducted for the shortlisted candidates. The final result of PI-GE will be declared on 31st March 2017.

CUSAT CAT Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for CUSAT 2017 is mentioned below. For each programmes, the eligibility criteria are separate. Here, we are mentioning the eligibility criteria of CUSAT CAT 2017.
  • All Indian/Foreign/PIO candidates can apply.
  • Those candidates belong to the Kerala Scheduled Tribe (KST) and Kerala Scheduled Cast (KSC) communities are eligible only if they have minimum pass marks in the qualifying examination except for Marine Engineering.
  • For all UG programmes (except Marine Engineering), the minimum eligibility for SEBC candidates with Non-Creamy Layer Status of Kerala State for admission to B.Tech programme is 45% for Mathematics and 45% for PCM (physics, Chemistry Mathematics) put together in the qualifying examination.
  • In case of PG Programmes, SEBC-NCL candidates of Kerala state are eligible for 5% relaxation in the minimum required marks for qualifying examination unless otherwise specified.
  • Candidates with a valid GATE score card are eligible for 5% relaxation in the qualifying examination marks for M.Tech Programmes.
  • Candidates who apply for the B.Tech programme, they have to qualify the 12th examination of the state of Kerala or any other examination accepted as equivalent thereto with PCM.
  • Candidates who apply for MBA programmes, they have to pass MAT 2017/ CMAT 2017/ CAT 2017.
  • Those candidates want to get admission in M.Tech programme (except Marine engineering), they have to clear GATE 2017 or DAT 2017 (conducted by the university).

First Degree Programmes

  • Mode: The CUSAT CAT 2017 will be conducted through online process (CBT).
  • Marking Scheme: For each correct response 3 marks will be awarded and for wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted.
  • No of Questions: The question paper will comprise in 250 objective type multiple choice questions.
    • 125 questions will be asked from Mathematics and 125 questions from Physics and Chemistry.
  • Duration: The duration of this exam will be three hours.
  • Total Marks: The question paper will be of 750 marks.

Lateral Entry to III Semester B.Tech Programme (LET)

  • Mode: The CUSAT CAT 2017 will be conducted through online process (CBT).
  • Marking Scheme:For each correct response 3 marks will be awarded and for wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted.
  • No of Questions: The question paper will consist of 200 objective type questions.
    • 20 questions will be asked from English, 50 from Mathematics, 40 from engineering Mechanics, 40 from Engineering Graphics and 50 from General Engineering.
  • Duration: The duration of this test will be 3 hours.
  • Total Marks: The maximum mark will be 600.

Syllabus

The syllabus of CUSAT CAT 2017 will be different for different courses. The syllabus of the first degree programme will be based on class 11th and 12th level. To score good marks, candidates prepare according to the prescribed course syllabus.

CUSAT 2017 Admit Card

Candidates can download the CUSAT 2017 Admit Card from the official site of the university. The admit card will be available from the third week of April 2017 (Tentative). The conducting authority will not send the admit card by post. Candidates must retain the admit card till the admission procedure will be over.

CUSAT 2017 Result

CUSAT 2017 Results will be released on the official site of the conducting body. The result will be announced in the last week of May 2017 (tentative). Candidates can get their admit card after entering their roll number. On the basis of the performance of the candidates, the merit list will be prepared. The merit list will be published on the official portal of the University.

CUSAT 2017 Counselling

The CUSAT 2017 Counselling will be started after the few weeks of the result declaration. The counseling schedule will be posted on the official website. The CUSAT Counselling will be held for all the passing candidates. No Individuals call letters/ communications will be sent to the candidates by post. In the counselling process, candidates have to register themselves for admission to various academic programmes of the University. The registration will be done only through the login portal, link that is available at the time of counselling. Registered candidates will be allotted seats as per their rank and availability of the seats.

CUSAT Admission

All the academic admissions will be based on the merit of the candidates as determined through an admission test. The admission will be based on the valid score/rank in the prescribed test/examination and score that is obtained in the group discussion/interview. Candidates also fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria for their appearing course. For certain programmes, National Level tests such as GATE, C-MAT (AICTE), MAT (AIMA), and CAT (IIM) will also consider as an eligibility requirement.

The GMAT 2017 (Graduate Management Admission test) is an International level entrance exam managed by the GMAC (Graduate Management Admission Council). It is organized to provide admissions in undergraduate management courses offered by foreign institutions and universities. More than 6,000 graduate business school programmes world-wide consider GMAT score for admission in management courses offered by them. GMAT exam is available in 114 countries with more than 600 test centers around the world. Candidates who wish to appear for GMAT 2017 exam, must be aware of the exam dates and schedule of the exam. The GMAT question paper comprises of different type of questions.

  • Mode of Exam: This exam will be held through online mode (computer based test).
  • Duration: Candidates will get 3 hours, + 30 minutes duration for GMAT exam.

Preparation Tips

Firstly plan your preparation time for GMAT exam. Prepare a good time-table as per to the suitable time and divide time equally for all the topics, give some extra time to difficult topics. Choose the best exam preparation books. Practice previous question papers it will help candidates to know about the exam pattern, question weightage, etc.

GMAT Syllabus

Before preparing for exams, candidates should have gathered all the information regarding syllabus. The GMAT Syllabus will be composed of Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA), Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative and Verbal sections. In AWA you will be asked to analyze the reasoning behind a given argument (topic) and write a critique of that argument. Integrated reasoning will measure candidate’s skills to evaluate information presented in multiple formats from multiple sources. The Verbal section will contain various topics such as read and understand written material, evaluate arguments and correct written material to conform to standard written English.

GMAT Question Papers

Candidates may also practice from the previous year GMAT question papers. The previous year papers are quite helpful for the students as through these paper candidates get aware of the exam pattern, marking scheme, topics asked etc.

GMAT 2017 Admit Card

The GMAT 2017 Admit Card will be downloaded through the official site of GMAT. Candidates will be informed through email to download their admit card after few days of the exam appointment.   • The CMAT 2017 Registration has been started from 10th October 2016.
  • Registration is invited through the online process only.

  • Type of Paper: The questions will be of objective type.
  • Duration: The test is having the duration of three hours.

The questions will come mainly from the four subjects they are quantitative techniques and data interpretation, logical reasoning, language comprehension and general awareness.

National Level Exams

CAT 2016
Common Admission Test (CAT) is a national level entrance exam which is conducted by the IIMs on the rotation basis. It is organized for admission in 19 Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) and different B-schools situated across the country. Every year, CAT 2016 application form will be available from the month of August.
MAT 2017
All India Management Association (AIMA) is the conducting authority that organizes Management Aptitude Test (MAT) every year. MAT exam will be held four times in a year usually in the month of February, May, September and December. This exam is conducted through paper based or computer based test.
XAT 2017
On the behalf of XAMI, Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI) manage a national level entrance exam that is known as Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT).  Candidates can get the XAT application form from the month of September 2016. After CAT, XAT is one of the famous entrance tests for admission in management programmes.
CMAT 2017
Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level entrance test which is supervised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).  It is organized as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. CMAT is computer based online entrance exam whose application form will be provided from the November 2016.
GMAT 2017
Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) is the main organizing body that organizes Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). It is a national level entrance exam which is held all the time (12 months) in a year. Candidate can register for GMAT only one time within a month & give the exam five times in a year.
SNAP 2017
Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is the university level exam conducts by the Symbiosis University. SNAP is held for admission in management programmes of constituent institutions under Symbiosis University. The online registration will be started from the month of August 2016. It is pen paper based exam.
CUSAT 2017
Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) is one of the most famous university in Cochin which was founded in the year of 1971. Candidates who seek admission in CUSAT MBA programme, they will be selected through CMAT 2017/MAT 2017/CAT 2016 score, group discussion & personal interviews. MBA programme online registration will begin from month of January 2017.
NMAT 2017
Narsee Monjee Management Aptitude Test (NMAT) or NMIMS Management Aptitude Test is postgraduate university level entrance test. NMAT is conducted by the Graduate Management Aptitude Council (GMAC). This entrance test is organized to pursue MBA or other graduate management degree programmes in leading institutions those accept NMAT scores.
IBSAT 2017
ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, Hyderabad is the main conducting authority that managed an ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test (IBSAT). IBSAT is a university level entrance that organizes for admission in various management programmes offered by ICFAI University & all India’s ICFAI Business School. It is also called as ICFAI Aptitude Test.
ATMA 2017
Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) conducts a national level entrance exam four times in a year that is known as AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA). This entrance exam is organizes in paper and computer based mode. It is held in the month of December 2016, February 2017, May 2017 & July 2017.
IIFT 2017
Indian Institute of Foreign Trade has an exceptional reputation all across the world for imparting management education. The Institution organizes IIFT entrance exam for admission in MBA (International Business) program at Kolkata & New Delhi campus. It is a national level entrance exam. The application form will be available in the month of August 2016.
Delhi University Admission 2017
The Delhi University also known as University of Delhi is the premier university of the country. Those candidates interested to do MBA, they have to fill the admission form that is available in the month of November 2016. On the basis of the CAT score, group discussion and personal interview, candidate will get admission in MBA programme.
IPU CET 2017
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University organizes university level entrance exam that is known as Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (IPU CET). The university offers separate CET exam for various courses. If candidate want to apply for MBA programme, they will get the application form in the month of January 2017. The exam is conducted in offline mode.
AMU 2017
Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is the most famous public university of Uttar Pradesh that is funded by the Government of India. The university conducts university level entrance exam for various programmes of the university. For MBA programmes, there is only one objective type question paper which contains 200 questions. Candidate can register for management course in the month of January 2017.
Allahabad University 2017
University of Allahabad which is also referred as Allahabad University is one of the most reputed university of UP. The university organizes its own admission test for different programmes. MBA (MONIBRA) Admission Test 2017 will conduct for admission in management programme of the university. After qualifying admission test, student has to pass in group discussion & personal interviews.
CUCET 2017
Central University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is a national level entrance test which is managed by the Eight Central Universities of India together. It is organized for admission into UG, PG & Ph.D courses in various field of management, engineering, arts, etc. CUCET application form will be available in the month of April.
Pondicherry University 2017
Pondicherry University is the central university that was established by the Government of India in 1985. Candidates who desire to join MBA programme in the university, they have pass the Common Admission Test (CAT). On the basis of the CAT scores, the university through group discussion and personal interview for short-listed candidates. The university publishes separate advertisement for this programme.
PESSAT 2017
The PES University conducts a university level entrance exam PES Scholastic Aptitude Test (PESSAT). PESSAT is organizes to get admission in various undergraduate & postgraduate programmes of the university. Candidates can fill the application form in the month of October 2016. The entrance exam will be held in the online mode.
BVP CET 2017
Bharti Vidyapeeth Deemed University is the group of higher educational institutions that organizes its own entrance exam for various courses. The university conducts BVP CET B-MAT 2017 for those candidates who want to get admission in MBA programmes. The application form will be available in the month of March 2017. The CET will be conducted through offline mode (pen-paper based).

SAAT 2017Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University Admission Test (SAAT) is a national level entrance exam which is managed by the Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University. SAAT is organizes for those candidates seek admission in different courses of the university constituent institutions. The entrance exam is written based & asked in English Language.

 MU OET 2017
Manipal University is one of the most well-known university of India. The university conducts its own entrance test that is known as Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU OET). This exam is held for admission in various programmes of engineering, management, medical & etc. Those candidate want to get admission in MBA programme, they will be selected on the basis of their past academic record, management test score and performance in the GD & PI.
KIITEE 2017
Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology is the main conducting body that manages the university level entrance exam. Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Exam (KIITEE) is organizes for various courses that are offered by the constituent college of the university. The application form will be provided from the month of December 2016.
PTU Exam 2017
Punjab Technical University (PTU) is the most famous university of India. The University will not conduct any entrance exam. The admission into MBA programme will be based on the score of CMAT 2017. If candidate from CMAT are not available & the seats are remain vacant, then the admission will be made on the inter-se-merit of the qualifying examination.
MICAT 2017
MICA is India’s premier management institute which conducts its own admission test known as MICA Admissions Test (MICAT). MICAT is held for admission into PGDM-C course that is equivalent to the MBA. Only those candidates apply for this admission test who qualifies at least one of the national level entrance exam i.e CAT/MAT/GMAT. Online registration will be opened in the month of September 2016.
VMOU Admission 2017
VMOU Admission 2017 shall be administrated by the Vardhman Mahaveer Open University. This university organizes entrance exam for providing admissions into various UG, PG and other programmes in the field of management, science, computer application, etc.
AIMA UGAT 2017
AIMA (All India Management Association) organizes the AIMA UGAT (Under Graduate Aptitude Test) examination. It is a national level examination organized to screen candidates for admissions in BBA, BHM, BCA, Integrated MBA and many other courses.
IRMA 2017
Institute of Rural Management (IRMA), Anand offers admissions to students into Post-Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) and Fellowship Programme in Rural Management (FPRM). Admissions will be done through CAT 2016 scores/XAT 2017 scores.
DU JAT 2017
Delhi University organizes the DU JAT (Delhi University Joint Admission Test) for providing admissions in BMS / BBA (FIA) / B.A. (Honours) and other programmes offered by DU. The university shall conduct this exam in the third week of June 2017.
ACET 2017
Actuarial Common Entrance Test (ACET) is a national level examination conducted by Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI). This examination is a gateway for those candidates planning to enroll as student members of IAI. The examination will be conducted two times in a year, i.e. May and October 2017.

Karnataka

KMAT 2017
Karnataka Private Postgraduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) is the main conducting authority that manages the state level entrance exam called Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT). This exam is held for admissions in the Karnataka state into professional courses that are MBA, PGDM and MCA. The application form will be available in the month of May 2017.

Maharashtra

MAH CET 2017
Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra is the main organizing authority which organizes state level entrance exam called MAH CET. This entrance exam is conducted for admission in first year of MBA/MMS/ PGDBM/PGDM programmes. MAH CET 2017 will be organizes only through pen-paper mode in multiple sessions. Online registration will be started from the month of February 2017.

Rajasthan

RMAT 2017
Rajasthan Management Aptitute Test (RMAT) is conducted by the Rajasthan Technical University. It is a state level entrance test that is organizes every year to get admission into the MBA programme. Candidates can get the application form in the month of March 2017. Through this entrance test, candidate will get admission in affiliated colleges of Rajasthan University.

Andhra Pradesh

AP ICET 2017
Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICET) is a state level entrance exam. It is regulated by the Andhra University in behalf of A.P State Council of Higher Education. Through this entrance exam, candidates get admission into MBA and MCA regular Courses that are offered by State Universities and Professional Colleges.
VMAT 2017
Vignan Management Aptitude Test (VMAT) is common entrance exam which is governed by the Vignan University, Andhra Pradesh. VMAT is conducted for admissions into BBA and MBA programmes that are offered by the University. After passing the entrance exam, candidates have to require attaining the group discussion/personal interview that is organized by the university.
AP ICET 2017
Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (APICET) is a state level examination regulated by the Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. Through this examination, candidates will get admissions in MBA or MCA courses offered by various institutions of Andhra Pradesh state.

Telangna

TS ICET 2017
Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS ICET) is a state level entrance exam. On behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad, TS ICET is conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal. This entrance exam is organized for admission into MBA & MCA programmes of all the universities & their affiliated institutes in Telangana State.

Tamil Nadu

TANCET 2017
Tamilnadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is a state level entrance exam that is regulated by the Anna University on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu. TANCET is conducted to get admission in MBA, MCA and M.E/M.Tech degree programmes. Online registration will begin from the month of March 2017. The entrance exam is held in offline mode.

Uttar Pradesh

UPSEE 2017
Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh is the famous conducting body that conducts state level entrance exam called UPTU entrance exam. UPTU entrance exam is also known as Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam (UPSEE 2017). UPSEE is organizes for admission in first year of B.Tech/B.Arch/ B.Pharm/BHMCT/BFAD/BFA/MBA/MCA/MAM. West Bengal

JMET 2017
Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test (JEMAT) is a state level entrance exam that is supervised by the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. JEMAT is organized to grant admission for deserving candidates into MBA courses. This course is offered by the various Government & Private Management Institutions in West Bengal. This entrance exam will be conducted through offline process (written test).

MAT 2017 Registration

  • MAT registration 2017 will be done through the online or offline process.
  • The form will be provided from the first week of December 2017.
  • After submitting the application form online, the form will be scrutinized by the examining committee and the candidates will get the acknowledgement slip.
  • This acknowledgement slip ensures that the form is filled and verified correctly.

Application Fee

  • The application form fee for all the candidates is Rs 1200/-.
  • There is no fee concession for the reserved category.
  • The fee can be paid through the following modes: Credit card/debit card, net banking, demand draft and through cash payment.
  • The demand draft will be made in favor of All India Management Association from any bank.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum qualification to appear for the test is graduation. The candidates who have completed their graduation in any of the streams like science, commerce and arts can apply for the exam.
  • The candidates who are in the final year of the graduation can also apply for the exam.
  • The candidates who have a minimum of 50% marks in their graduation can apply for the test (45% marks for the SC/ST candidates). The NRI candidates can also appear for the test.
  • There is no age limit to appear for the MAT exam. The candidates of any age can appear for this entrance test.
  • There is no attempt limit for the examination.

MAT Exam Pattern

  • Mode of Exam: MAT examination will be held online as well as offline.
  • No. of Questions: The question paper will consist of 200 questions.
  • Total Marks: There are five sections and each section will carry forty marks.
  • Marking Scheme: Each question will carry one mark.
  • Negative Marking: For every wrong answer ¼ marks is deducted.
  • Subjects: The question paper will consist of the five sections mainly language comprehension, mathematical skills, data analysis and sufficiency, intelligence and critical reasoning and Indian and Global Environment.

MAT Syllabus

MAT Preparation Tips

The candidates should prepare each topic and should not leave any topic for the last moment. The candidates can make the short notes and can revise them for the better preparation. MAT Admit Card

The candidates will get the MAT admit card 2017 through the official website. The candidate will not be allowed to enter the examination hall without the admit card. The candidates will get the admit card two weeks before their examination. The admit card contain the details like students roll no, name, exam centre, paper timing etc.

MAT Answer Key

Students can check their answers and can calculate their marks and score with the help of the answer key. Hence after completion of the exams students need not to wait for the result for their score and marks as they can calculate their marks and score from the answer key. MAT 2017 answer key will be declared after one/two weeks of the examination.

MAT Result

IIFT 2017 Application Form, Exam Date

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is the top business school of India that organizes a national level exam known as IIFT Entrance Exam. This entrance exam is conducted for admission in the MBA program of International Business (IB). IIFT 2017 entrance exam is the self organizing admission test that will be conducted on 26th November 2016. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who want to apply for this entrance exam must read the below criteria as follows:
  • There is no age limit for this exam.
  • The candidate should have three years duration bachelor degree in any discipline from the recognized university.
  • Appearing candidates of final year of graduation can also apply but they have to submit the proof of requisite qualification by 7th October 2017.
  • Seats are reserved for Foreign Nationals, NRIs and Children of NRIs and the admission is considered on the basis of General Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) score of which should not have been declared  before 1st January 2015 and should be received by the Institute latest by 31st March 2017.

IIFT 2017 Registration

  • The IIFT registration 2017 had released on 15th July and end by 5th September 2016.
  • IIFT Application form could be filled through online or offline process.
  • Those candidates apply through the offline process they could buy the Prospectus from the post office and at the counter of IIFT in cash or through demand draft.
  • Candidates are advised to retain a photocopy of the completed application form and demand draft for the future reference.
  • Candidates who belong to the SC/ST/PH category they had to send the photocopy of the requisite certificate with the filled application form.
  • After filling the registration form they could send the application form in the envelope to the given address below.

Application Form Fee

The cost of the prospectus and application form was Rs. 1550 for the general category. The fee of prospectus and application form for SC/ST/PH candidates was Rs 775. There was no need to pay any other fee while sending back the filled application form to IIFT. The application form fee for the Foreign National/NRI/Children of NRI candidates is US$ 80 (INR Rs 4500).

Syllabus

The IIFT syllabus generally covers the section of English Comprehension, General Knowledge and Awareness, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Analysis. Candidates must prepare for the above section and practice mock test papers.

Preparation Tips

To get score good marks in the entrance exam candidates have to make a proper schedule to give equal importance to each topic. Candidates will take help from the previous year question papers and sample paper books. Don’t leave any topic for the last moment, prepare each topic. Maintain your health and avoid the pressure it will affect on your exam preparation.

Admit Card

IIFT Admit Card for entrance exam is sent by post for all the candidates who filled the application form through online or offline mode. Candidates get their admit cards till the second week of November 2016. If candidates not get their admit card till the second week of November 2016 they can download their admit card from the website from the 15th November 2016 through online mode.

Answer Key

The answer key will be published in the official portal after the two or three days of the entrance exam. Through answer key candidate will calculate their rough marks for the examination and check their performance. With the help of expected score candidates can figure their chances for the admission process.

Result

The IIFT result will be declared in the first week of January 2017 (tentative). Candidates will check their result at the official site by entering their roll no. and date of birth. Candidate will take the print out of the scorecard for further procedure.

IIFT Admission

Candidates will get admission in IIFT on the basis of Written Test, Group Discussion, Interview and Essay Writing. Based on the written exam score candidates will be called for the essay writing, group discussion and Interview to be held at Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai. It will be held in the month of January/February 2017. Selected candidates will get admission in IIFT, New Delhi and Kolkata. Written Test will be held on SUNDAY 27th November 2016 during 10.00 AM – 12.00 Noon at Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhubeneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Hydrabad, Indore, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur and Visakhapatnam. XAT 2017 !!! Registration, Exam Dates, Exam Pattern, Syllabus

XAT 2017: Xavier Aptitude Test or XAT is a national level MBA entrance exam conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur for the admission to post graduate management programmes at more than 150 B-schools in India. The paper pencil based XAT 2017 test will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2017. The application process has started from Wednesday, August 17, 2016 and will end on Wednesday, November 30, 2016. The last date for late application is December 11, 2016 with a higher application fee. The application fee has increased from last year.


XAT is considered to be one of the toughest MBA entrance exams. Last year, XAT had undergone changes in terms of exam pattern. XAT 2017 pattern is expected to remain same as last year. XAT 2017 Registration

  • Interested candidates can apply for this exam via online process.
  • Not any other mode is available to fill the application form.
  • XAT Registration 2017 has been started from 17th August, 2016.

XAT Eligibility Criteria

Candidates make sure to check eligibility criteria before applying:
  • Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree of minimum three years or equivalent from a recognized authority in any discipline.
  • Candidates appearing in final exams by June, 2017 are also eligible to apply.
  • NRI and Foreign candidates can apply via GMAT Score card (except Dubai and Kathmandu candidates).
  • Candidates who have scored less than 50% in graduation are also eligible to apply.

XAT 2017 Exam Pattern

Here, candidates may check the XAT Exam Pattern:
  • Mode: XAT exam will be a pen & paper based examination.
  • Sections: The XAT exam will be conducted in two papers i.e. paper 1 and paper 2.
  • No of Questions: The paper 1 will consist of 78 questions & Paper 2 will contain 25 questions.
  • Subjects: The paper 1 will be from Decision Making, Verbal and Logical Ability and Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation.
    • The paper 2 will be from General Awareness and one topic for essay writing.
  • Duration: Total 170 minutes will be given to students for paper 1 and 35 minutes will be provided for paper 2.

The XAT admit card will be released by the authority from 20th December 2016 onwards. Candidates can download their admit card by visiting the official website of XAT. The admit card will contain examination details such as exam venue, exam date & timing, name and roll number of the candidate etc.

Display of Answer Key

The official answer key of XAT exam will be displayed in the third week of January, 2017. Candidates can download the answer key from the official site of XAT. To download answer key, candidates are required to visit the official website, after that click on the link related to “XAT Answer Key”. After that candidates have to enter their Registration Number and Date of Birth to generate answer key.

XAT 2017 Result

The XAT Result 2017 will be announced on 31st January 2017. Candidates can check their result through the official portal of XAT. To check the result, candidates are needed to navigate to the official website of XAT, enter your roll number and other required details to generate result.

XAT Cut-off

Cut-off is the minimum score which is required to be scored by the candidates to get shortlisted for admissions in institutions. Here we have mentioned the expected XAT 2017 Cut-off:

Counselling Process

After the result announcement, candidates will be invited for counselling procedure on the basis of aggregate secured by them in the XAT exam. The XAT Counselling 2017 will begin after the result declaration. Counselling will held via online process. Candidates will be shortlisted for XLRI and XAT participating institutions as per the marks secured by them in the examination. At the last selection process, candidates will have to go through the group discussion (GD), Personal Interviews (PI) and or WAT rounds.

NMAT that is generally known as NMIMS Management Aptitude Test is a national level entrance exam. This exam is managed by the Graduate Management Aptitude Council (GMAC). NMAT is a postgraduate level exam that is organized to get admission in MBA or other graduate management degree programmes. These programmes are offered by various colleges such as the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Study (NMIMS) and other colleges. Eligibility Criteria

A candidate who wants to appear in the NMAT 2017 examination, they have to fulfill the eligibility criteria that are given below.
  • Candidate should have to complete a Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3/4) in any discipline from a recognized University for MBA and MBA HR in Mumbai Campus. They have to score minimum 50% marks in the aggregate.
  • Those Candidates that want to join MBA Pharmaceutical Management course in Mumbai campus, they have to pass their Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3/4) in Pharmacy, Science, Life Sciences, MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Biotechnology from a recognized University. Candidates have to score minimum 50% marks in the aggregate. Postgraduate degree holder’s candidate in Economics, Psychology and Sociology can also apply.
  • Candidate who completes their graduation with B.Tech or B.E in Bio-Tech or Bio-Medical can also apply.
  • Candidates who working in a Pharmaceutical Company for more than two years are also applicable for this exam.
  • Candidates who want to apply for the PGDM programme in Bangalore and Hyderabad campus, they have to qualify their Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3/4) in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate.
  • Appearing candidates of final year examination of their Bachelor’s degree are also eligible to apply.

NMAT Exam Pattern

  • Mode of Exam: NMAT will be held through computer based mode.
  • Type of Exam: It will be an objective type multiple-choice test.
  • Subjects: The exam will comprise in three parts: Language skills, Quantitative skills and Logical Reasoning.
  • Duration: The time duration of the examination is two hours (120 min).
  • No of Questions: There are 120 questions will be asked.
  • Negative Marking: There is no process of negative marking.
  • Retake Norms: In case, the candidate will not satisfy with their marks in the first attempt then they can schedule for the retake.
  • No of Attempts: During the year, candidate will be allowed to take the exam as maximum of three times.
  • Merit: The highest score in all three re-takes will be considered for the final merit.

Exam Slot Booking

Once the candidate registration and payment will be received by the conducting authority they will get an email with their username and password. After that, candidate will be allowed to schedule their exam. Candidates will be able to select the exam date, time slot, and test centre of their choice on the basis of seat availability. The exam slot will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Admit Card

The candidate will get the admit card through the online process from the official portal of NMAT. After the application form payment acceptance by GMAC, candidates can able to take the printout copy of the admit card with photograph. If a candidate can opt to retake the examination, they have to retain the same admit card that they carried in their first attempt.
Note: candidate will not get the same test centre as allotted them for your previous attempt(s).

Result

The NMAT result will be announced in the 17th January 2017 on the official site. Once the result will be published, candidate will be receiving an email indicating that the result is announced. At the same time, the candidate score card will be sent to the schools that they selected at the time of form filling.

NMAT Cut-off

After the result declaration, the conducting authority released the cut-off score range as the examination section. Candidate scores will be included as scaled score for each section of the exam, a total score as well as a percentile ranking. Admission Procedure

After the result announcement, the admission procedure will begin. On the basis of the score in the examination, the merit list will be released. As per merit list candidate will be selected for the admission procedure. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the Case Discussion & Personal Interview that is conducted in Mumbai and Bangalore (if required). For these rounds candidates have to carry their NMAT Admit card. All the shortlisted candidates download their call letter from the official website. They also need to bring their call letter for the CD/PI process. No separate call letter will be mailed to the candidates. On the premises of the academic marks obtained, NMAT marks, work experience and Case Discussion – Personal Interview, the final merit list will be prepared. On the basis of the final merit list, candidates will get a seat as per the preferred institutions.
